should I ditch my Corolla?

i have Corolla that sadly ran dry and now has an engine knock. We were able to get it back on track but my mechanic think it's time to ditch it. 


thinking whether
should I do an engine swap or just donate it. running Corollas go for $3-4k around here. mine is an '03 Corolla btw. Thoughts?

Hmm sounds like donating might be the easier way. Engine swaps can get pricey. just my two cents!

yeah n engine swap could be very pricey, especially on an '03 Corolla, if the car's in decent shape otherwise, you could get a few thousand selling it as-is or donate for tax benefits
