Trying to make my mom's 2018 Corolla LE look a bit cooler, so I grabbed some 17" rims from a Toyota 86. Thought it'd be an easy swap, but nope!
First, the rims were hitting the brake caliper, so I threw on some 5mm spacers, which fixed that.
But now, the wheel studs are way too short, barely any thread left for the lug nuts, and that's not safe.
I'm thinking about swapping them out for some longer 50mm studs.
Has anyone else tried this on a Corolla, or have any suggestions on specific studs to get? Any advice would be awesome!
