No, this isn't normal. If it's not under warranty, go bring it to an HVAC specialist. I had the same experience and at first I ignored it, but it eventually blew hotter air and I was suffocating.

It isn't totally weird to get a little warmer AC when you're at a standstill since there's less airflow to cool things down.
But if it's blowing noticeably warmer air, then try inspecting your cabin air filter if it's clogged.
Did you also notice if your radiator fans are running when the AC is on when you're stopped?

Although it's usually normal, it's still worth checking if your Corolla's air conditioner blows warm air when you stop but cools while you drive. Low refrigerant, a malfunctioning condenser fan, or a clogged condenser are common causes

Verify that the cooling fan turns on when the air conditioner is operating and start by checking the refrigerant levels. Condenser cleaning is also beneficial. A quick mechanic check is a good idea if it continues to occur
