Is slight shudder normal?

I got a secondhand 2019 Corolla SE with the CVT and it has this subtle shudder or vibration that's bugging me. It happens consistently when I'm accelerating from a stop, right in that low-speed range, probably around 20-30 km/h. It feels like the car is briefly stumbling or shaking before it smooths out. It's not a violent jerk or anything, just a quick little shimmy. I've heard some people talk about CVT behavior, so I'm not sure if this is normal or something I should be worried about. Has anyone else experienced this with their 2019 SE? Which things should I check to rule out any issues?

You might be noticing some early signs that the CVT is starting to wear, or it could just be the usual way the belt engages. It's a good idea to take a look at the motor mounts and check the condition of the CVT fluid. Also, make sure there are any software updates that need to be done. If you haven't already, changing the fluid might really help smooth things out

I have a 2018 Corolla LE with the CVT, and I've felt that same shake around low speeds too. I cleaned the MAF sensor and looked at the throttle body, and that helped. You might also check the engine mounts and CVT fluid as old fluid can make it feel rough. These small fixes can really help smooth things out.
