Headlights only works as high beams

We have a 2015 Corolla LE and recently replaced the daytime running lights with new ones that were listed as compatible (same specs: Sylvania HB3 U 9005, 12V 60W). But now upon checking, they only work as high beams and wont turn on as DRLs. Now trying to figure out why that's happening and what I can do to get the DRLs working again. Any ideas?

If the bulbs only hit as highs, there might be something wrong with the wiring or DRL module. Maybe try swapping back one original bulb and see if it's the bulbs that are having some issues or something else. DRLs are kinda complicated.

Check if the new bulbs are actually dual filament or if they support low voltage DRL operation because some 9005s don't dim properly and only kick on at full power (high beam mode). and even though they may be "compatible," not all HB3/9005s behave the same with toyota's DRL circuit.

PWM dimming is what it's called and I don't think these support it, so @Belfort09 you'll need to get another pair or try to return these and get a replacement.
