corolla LE 2016 air conditioner fans are off

My dad got this old Corolla LE, and the aircon's totally dead. When I crank the fan dial (off, low, med, high), nothing happens. Yeah, no fans, no air.

I swapped the horn relay with the fan relay, and still nothing, so I guess that's not it.

Pulled the dash off to peek at the wiring behind the dial; everything looks connected, but I didn't actually test for power there.

Any ideas what else I should check?

That sounds like an issue with the blower moto or the blower motor resistor!
Check for power directly at the blower motor connector.
If you have power there and the motor still doesn't spin, it's likely seized or burnt out.
If no power, then you're looking further upstream, possibly the resistor or a fuse dedicated to the blower motor.

The blower motor resistor and the blower itself, both are common failure points so test for power at the blower plug with the fan on high and if there's no power, the issue might be the fan switch or a fuse you missed

If it is a bad blower resistor, usually you'd at least get one speed working if that was the case, but in your case, you're getting absolutely nothing, so my best next guess is fuse or bad ground somewhere in the HVAC circuit

Yup, prolly blower motor. If the fan isnt working at all, its probably the motor, a bad ground or the switch isn't sending power. Testing with a multimeter at the motor plug should help you figure it out.
