repairing the electronic locks

my gf got a 2014 Corolla, and the power locks are screwy.

When she hits the button on the key fob or the door panel, the back doors lock and unlock just fine, but the front doors are totally out to lunch.

the driver's and passenger doors has to be locked and unlocked by hand.

I helped her check the fuse by the driver's knee, and it's good to go.

idk what's wrong here 'cause I can't find anything online, I'm clueless about where to even start lookin' for the parts to check. Does anyone ever had the same case?

I think you should be looking at the actuator for the front doors. Not sure why or how both would go out at the same time, but sound like that could be the reason for the problem.

Both at the same time isn't too big of a coincidence? I was thinking about mentioning the harness, but I'm guessing it's the same coincidence that both harnesses get the same kind of damage at the same time. Maybe the car is haunted?

Yo, you got jokes dude but @BlueSky95 the fuse is fine if the rears still move, so look at replacing the front door lock actuators, either OEM or aftermarket

My money's on either the actuators in the front doors, or a broken wire in the door jamb harness. Those wires bend constantly when the door opens and closes, and they can eventually fray and break, especially the ones for the front doors that get more use
